Music stores are officially a joke
So I purchased a patch bay yesterday and had to go to 5 different stores looking for L+R mono 1/4" Jack to stero 1/4" jack, I needed a good few of the leads and although the shops stock them, they have had non in stock for a while.
I beg to ask why guitar centers and live PA stores don't stock such basic wiring. Has the world gone totally software these days? I feel like a caveman asking for wires!
I'm now left with a mess where my studio should be until I can get the wires.

Internet every time if you don't live in a big city. It's a one day wait sure but at least you have a decent choice. Not just the last cable they managed to find tangled in the corner.

Around here Guitar Center / Best Buy have too many choices… Stand there for 20 mins reading the backs of packages trying to compare, frozen by indecision...

That's what I'm thinking, in your first post, and they don't have em on monoprice, unless they've changed their inventory.

Make it yourself. Use 1/4" male and buy a stereo female. Then use a 1/4" stereo cable. You can even use a guitar cable for the mono 1/4" males and cut it in half. You can get these parts at radio shak(in the states). Or you can get them online anywhere. Partsexpress.com
