New Drum Sequencer?

Post by S1lent » Sat Mar 05, 2011 7:40 pm

Hey, just wanted to know if there is some legit drum sequencers on some sites.
My version of Guru just got time bombed and im left without anything but hyper editor on Logic.
Hyper editor is very annoying and i end up just getting fustrated so.

Don't you mean to ask if there are some legit, FREE vst drum sequencers? Try www.kvraudio.com

Yea, because talking about torrents/warez/cracks is a big no no.

I looked at this already and checked the sequencer box, it just showed all the sequencers but they were programs...

You can narrow the search on KVR to just VST and specific to operating system. I mean...you could even do a simple google search... :W:

I did, i looked through VST on there and no luck with what im looking for. Half of them are just drum loop samples.
Anyone else that can shoot some legit vst sequencers my way?

Why do you need a sequencer?

Surely your DAW has that?

No, I cant speak for all of us, but most of us dont. Alot of people around here run the labels your stealing from. This is EDM, its not exactly the biggest market in the world, I buy the music I spin because I know it goes to help independant, solid artists, and that I wouldnt want my tunes to be downloaded either.

And you buy the software because you have to pay the initial royalty fee to have the right to use it in your productions commercially. Ethics. Same reason you clear your samples.

If your going to steal, do it in private. And really. Dont download music. Thats fucked up, would you want someone to do it to you?

to each their own, but as a student with no job/time i really cant justify spending my money on downloading music. Well its not really my goal to make money from making music, so no I wouldnt mind if people downloaded my music. But yeah if thats your source of income that would suck

You had me up until here. I have no moral/ethical problem with sampling, at all.

Love how it is just assumed that everyone steals music. This world is going to be a trip.

And I love the "I'm a student" line. That shit is classic. Like literally classic. Reminds my of Felini's Satyricon in the minotaur scene. Classic.

Yeah, I probably could have elaborated on that but I didnt wanna deviate from my original point about the whole stealing tunes issue...
