Gradually Increase Tempo in Logic
I haven't had too much luck finding information on how to do this, if there is already a thread somewhere you can just point me to it!
I'm curious on how I would have a song start at 140 bpm and then make the tempo change over a set amount of time to speed up to a final faster tempo (I would also like to know how to slow it down, though Im sure once I learn one direction I'll learn the other)? I know how to do it for the whole track at one tempo with the time and pitch machine and what not, but no idea on how to gradually increase it over time, not just going from one bpm immediately into another.
The best example I can think of this is Modestep at the breakdown approx. 1:36 through. Does it have something to do with the samples? or is there a way to directly change it with Logic itself to the entire span of the time?
This question is more for if I choose to go from a Dubstep 140 to a D&B 160-190 for a mix of originals. Any tips?
Thanks,
Kromly

Re: Gradually Increase Tempo in Logic
I'm not sure if this is of much help but in Reason and Ableton i can just right-click on the tempo and set the automation. Sorry if this doesn't help I don't use Logic.

Re: Gradually Increase Tempo in Logic
global tracks look at top of arrange page, open global tracks, you will see an automation line for tempo.

Re: Gradually Increase Tempo in Logic
Logic pro 9,and shit loads of third party plugs, for the track in my sig it was only massive for the synths and ultrabeat for the beats.
