Dubstep Allstars 5

Post by the mighty spanner » Thu Apr 19, 2007 7:47 am

I know it's out soon, I know it's N-Type and I got it on pre-order, but does anyone know of the track listing at all? I tried Googling it but no luck...

Edit: Apparently the tracklist I had wasn't 100% accurate, check N-type's post below.

Big tracklisting! N-type smashing it, as per usual.
Surely that isn't 38 tunes on one cd?
fair point, it's gotta be a 2CD deal like volume 4, surely - otherwise each track would only be about a minute and a half long

No it's one CD - N Type mixes quickly and accurately. The shortest indents on the CD are 40 seconds long!

This sounds like a lot of tracks but the way they are mixed they dont sound too short.

I have taken into account that some tunes have BIG second drops! What I did to keep listeners interested (in a rave this keeps people dancing) is to tease another track in (like a classic) and do something creative in the mix.

Some tracks I leave to beathe before i bang in another tune, others I mix quickly but keep them in the mix longer.

I wanted to get the balance between a rave set and listenable CD for home and car.

For me I wanted it to be a good representation as me as a DJ to show what I do in raves but also collaberate a decent selection from sum highly talented producers.
