Hey peeps,
I'm more of a guitarist but I've always been interested in electronic music and started buying some programs:
I have
Komplete Elements
Battery 3
Zeta
Kontakt 4
NI Massive Threat has been out for a while now, so I was wondering if I should be looking elsewhere for anything new that came out etc that is good for beginners when it comes to dubstep synths/presets etc.
I've always respected Diplo so I was happy to see his name in the credits. Evil Boy 4 liiife

you just need massive, then read some tutorials, the preset banks are shit aside from their organ thing, and it comes with it.
Also, stop buying so much shit lol, you dont need too much more then what you have bought already and what comes in your DAW I promise.

I don't know much about Komplete elements but from what I gather it's just a preset player ? Correct me if I'm wrong.
If this is the case then to progress you really need Massive so you can get under the hood and really tweak it.

That is what got on my nerves when I bought it yesterday. Even on the NI site I could barley get a list of what is included with it. But they just dropped the price on it to $49 so I thought why not? I think it is all of the free players, with about 10 gigs of extra (they call best of) instruments.
What twisted my arm was you get a $60 voucher for future NI purchases. So if I did want to upgrade to massive full ver, I won't be down any cash.
