between about 12 hours and 6 months.... for the ones that get finished. The ones that don't get zombie-harvested for the good parts.

sometimes it can take an hour sometimes a couple days.
but u dont wanna spend way too long cos you'll jus lose it.
i usually start the general idea and if im not feeling it at that moment i leave it a couple of days till i hear some wicked sample or sumting which gives me more inspiration then im back on it again.

My best tracks tend to take the shortest amount of time because stuff just clicks right away.

The longer ones I tend to grow tired of listening to over and over and eventually ditch the project.

Some write themselves in a couple of hours, then maybe a mixdown tidy over a couple hours the next day just to be sure everything sits right. Other times it can take up to a week, maybe more, putting in a good few hours each day. Totally depends on what each tune requires and how quickly I figure out what it needs.
