Am sorry to break it to you, American cousins, but the word 'panties' isn't sex, romantic, nor does it conjure up images of a passion and lust. Instead it makes you think of Tena-lady, incontinence and menopausal 50 year old mothers of three. The word 'knickers' hower is far sexier and even sounds naughty.

Whenever I hear someone say knickers I have to take a second, because I always hear n!gger. I guess thats cuz knickers is a term very rarely used around here though. PLus we have a vast population of black people/ white people who want to be black.

Every time I hear 'knickers' I hear it in the voice of some old cockney fart telling a Pakistani to not get his 'knickers in a bunch' after calling him a certain racial slur. <.<

Every time I hear 'panties' I think of a 19 year old drunk, dumb, slurring college girl who, after having finished her 5 minutes of sex with some random loser, is yelling 'where are my paaaantieessss?'

Seeing as I wouldn't mind being that loser, I'll go with panties, but both words suck shit. Nothing sexy about either of them.
