[feedback] Body without Organs - Nocturne (deep, chilled)

just been playing around with some basic scales on the keyboard but i think i might be on to a potentially good track. very chilled four tet-esque kinda tune. any feedback or comments greatly appreciated

Liking the Direction your going in. Try to layer that piano sounding instrument with another instrument to thicken it up, maybe at a lower octave. And some side chain compression on the sub bass that will duck the kick and snare slightly so they can come out more in the mix. Liking it a lot!

cheers man. i've noticed that while the levels are good on headphones on laptop speakers the hihats come out too loudly; is there a way to sidestep this?

I really like the piano writing. For a final track it does need some layering. You can even use different instruments at different points and have them weave in and out.
