Interested to see what the FX are. Otherwise just another synth I'll never own. It looks slick though. I wonder if they will turn that wave imager into it's own analysis type plugin just to milk it for a little extra cash.

they sure know their target audience. and damn, they'll need a good crack for this. i don't expect anyone who's going to want it for the sounds of that demo to actually go and buy it.

Hardly brostep.....more mid-range wobble circa 2007-2010.

And the YouTube faithful do their best with the comments;
"holy shit best shit of all shit i every head WONT ONE NOW"
"I am gonna get an extra mortgage on my house if I have to."
"you can't have a filter without a cutoff. By definition."
"do you accept souls please say yes"
"Dubstep FTW"

It sounds exactly like Reaktor: Lazerbass
Re: Native Instruments Razor (new 'filth' plugin)
i heard that that whole song is actually a preset. thats actually the only one, you can use is it once and after that the synth turns into massive but with only one osc and all the wavetables are scrapyrard. and its yellow.
Re: Native Instruments Razor (new 'filth' plugin)
Not really excited by the demo, but if you pause the video on the closeups of the interface you can see some pretty damn cool stuff.
Sexy Interface with 3D display
Modular Design
Additive Synthesis
***Built in Vocoder***
Built in Limiter (with drive)
Lots of filters
Lowpass Phaser Filter: with width, phase, slope, shuffle (i dunno what any of this is but is sounds fun)
Formant Filter
Depending on the oscillators, i'd say it's a sexier version of Massive with more filters, and more features. I'm excited to hear more about it.

It might create 'filthy' sounds but I'm sure it could also produce good sounds if you learned to use it properly. Looks pretty cool.

and as long as I can program some decent sounds into it that I like, I could give a shit less about what anyone else thinks about it. So far it's looking good to me.

didn't really hear anything you couldn't do with Massive already
will definitely try a demo though to have a little play

It's got a pretty GUI and I do enjoy their other products. I'd love to demo it and see what can be done.

if you have/know Reaktor then you have seen all of this for years, they are blates going at the 'dubstep', 'dirty house' market.
