Team Deathwish are all a little bit over excited about this next one as we welcome some personal heroes of ours...
If you like breakbeat, or indeed know anything about it, then our headlining act will be very familiar to you indeed. Breakbeat was great, it was made so by acts like this, who c...onstantly changed and formed the genre into the energetic chapter in dance music that we all loved. But that's exactly it, 'loved', past tense. Breakbeat ran its course, lost it's originality and we didn't hear much about it for a long time. That is until now. ★ AQUASKY ★ (Passenger Records)
-------------------
Having just celebrated their 15th year as a production outfit these guys have literally done it all. First making it as drum and bass producers back in the day, this well loved tune making machine decided to revolutionise the Nuskool Breaks scene forever. We still remember the week 'Addiction' came out and still cherish our copy on vinyl to this day! Release after release onto the scene established Aquasky as true breakbeat originators and saw them travel the world receiving the highest acclaim.
During 2007-2008 the trio were heavily influenced by the electro house scene and created a sound that bridged their rowdy breakbeat vibe into 4/4 beats. In perusing this musical off-shoot a new alias was devised, ‘Black Noise’, which saw the boys signing to Fatboy Slim’s Southern Fried Records and remixing the likes of Crookers, Diplo, Sidney Samson, Don Diablo, Engine Earz and many others.
And now, theyre at it again. With their new tune 'Hold On' already receiving massive support from anyone who's heard it, 2011 is shaping up to be a massive year for this trio.

Mooqee has been gathering some serious heat over the last year with airtime from Radio 1 in the UK, hook ups with label mates Beatvandals and Russ from Cuban Brothers…..all with the usual Mooqee style devastation. After a successful Australian tour & countless shows across Europe including London Superclub Fabric alongside Ali B, 2011 is set to feature more ‘Bombstrikes presents’ shows along with an American tour and a return to Australia for round two!
Rapidly establishing himself as the one of the scenes big players, he is constantly full of surprises and armed to the teeth with his own edits and remixes to ensure the party goes off. Always un-missable, it is impossible not to shake what your mamma gave ya whilst this man is playing.
In addition to the guest bookings he can also be spotted holding down a residency with leading Breaks, beats and funk night 'Sugarbeat club'.
