Then you arent reading them well enough. Its not about what VSTi's he uses and it SURE isnt about what effects he uses, its about your knowledge of synthesis, and your ability to apply it to make a sound. Waveforms all add the same. Ask yourself what you wanna make, reduce it to simple plarts, construct. Dont think slapping a few plugins on something is magically going to yeild a sound either, one of the biggest lies told in brostep is that its about post processing... get the sound right ocming out of your synth.TSDREX wrote:the threads ain't very helpful, tried them all lmao, they are rubbish.wub wrote:There is a thread about Borgore and his processing techniques at the top of the board - http://www.dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=192504

I agree with what your saying about getting the sound right coming out of your synth first but you do get good results with a bit of post processing too,the two combined i have made some monster patches. For me they both serve a purpose,i think the bunging on of effects to yeild results is where people go wrong ,not to much and just enough are what i use in my approach.Basic A wrote:Then you arent reading them well enough. Type of cheese.
Re: What Vst/effects does borgore use?
to make the sound im guessing is just (in ni massive) the modern talking wavetable, maybe some digi named wavetable like digigrain or digi whatever the other one is called then lower each an octave, mess about with the wavetable position and use some phase modulation which is that parameter in the modulation oscillator and use it on the modern talking osc but have 2 modern talking osc, and just wank about there and you should get something interesting i guess
