Car sound systems

Post by mizan215 » Thu Apr 07, 2011 8:35 pm

I got into dubstep by a friend playing dubstep in my car, now my car has 2 12" subs and including the amp I have about 3400 watts of base once the bass in the song dropped, I loved the bass, i'll post a pic of my system when I can.

So what do you guys have?

my car came factory with a 10" sub installed in front of the center console. enough to boom on the inside, and not annoy everyone on the block :corndance:

All I will say is I got a police ticket for breaking the sound ordinance once. :h: Was proud of it too, kept it for years. Come back and talk to us when your system is that serious.

some snobs around here! am sure those hating on good car systems are the first to criticise people listening to dubstep on crappy home or club systems. love driving along a motorway at night with dubstep or techno up loud on a quality system.

I drive a 2010 accord, it too has a built in 8” Sub in the center rear. 7 speaker system was 80% of the reason I bought it. The car I got the “too-loud ticket" for, was a ’99 civic, which I traded for this.

Current car’s factory system is beautiful for checking mixdowns, but no where NEAR as powerful as a trunk full of 12”s like I used to have. But I’m probably never going to do that to a car again. Want my hearing when I’m old.
