Send channels in FL9
does anyone know if there is a way to have more than 4 send channels in FL9?
Re: Send channels in FL9
You can create a send out of any mixer channel. It's just a matter of routing what you want through the channel.ina wrote:does anyone know if there is a way to have more than 4 send channels in FL9?

Re: Send channels in FL9
Intead of doing 'route to this track only' on the send track, do 'route to this track only' on any other mixer track.
Re: Send channels in FL9
this is actually how i normally do it...never even used a 'send' just route mixer insert tracksComfiStile wrote:Intead of doing 'route to this track only' on the send track, do 'route to this track only' on any other mixer track.

Re: Send channels in FL9
Op click on a mixer track and notice how there is a little yellow arrow under the master channel. Click that, now notice there is no more sound, there is the same little arrow on all mixer tracks, click on another free channel in the mixer to route it to that channel. I don't even use sends just do that,

Re: Send channels in FL9
Seems like most people do that the same way as me.
I don't really get the point of the send channels vs regular mixer tracks, apart from the fact that they are always visible no matter how far you scroll, but thats more of an aesthetics thing rather than a useful trait.

In short, no.
Re: Send channels in FL9
You can't use the fruity send plugin with normal mixer tracks. You can do something pretty much the same as send tracks with normal tracks as has been mentioned it's just a bit more convoluted.
