About DUBSQUARE:
Dubsquare is a radio-show, a label, a club-night and blog. The radioshow
started in 2006 on Vienna’s free radio Radio Orange 94.0 and has moved to
a weekly slot on Sub FM in 2008. Every Thursday 2-4pm GMT (15-17h CET) DJ
IZC & guests are presenting a blend of dubstep, 2-step-garage, grime, dub,
techno, elektro and other bass-driven genres of electronic dance-music,
with a special focus on the scenes in Central Europe. The show also
includes dates for the region as well as recurring features on politrix.
In 2008 Dubsquare Records was established, representing a deep, dark and
percussive end of Dubstep, with strong detroit-influences. The bi-lingual
blog Dubsquare.net complements all of these activities, providing
additional background information.
