Rob Sparx + Jahtari NOT playing Blue Mountain club tommorow

Post by rob sparx » Thu Apr 21, 2011 10:41 am

Not sure if the mods approve of this but I think complete timewasting bellends of promoters should be named and shamed :middlefinger: so other djs and ppl going to their events don't get fukt about or deceived and ppl don't think djs are not turning up for events when they haven't even been properly booked to play:

http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=1 ... 634&v=wall

Comments keep getting removed so ill quote:

Jahtari "So again, after you deleted it: In case you're from Bristol - you might have seen some posters recently, saying we'll be playing at a party organized by Champion Sound at Blue Mountain. Since we know nothing about it that's what you'd call a cheeky move. So in case you already bought a ticket you should demand your money back from those guys! And then head straight over to the Black Swan, where Soom T and YT will rock it alongside Mungo's Hifi!"

"And take us off your bloody lineup right away!!! We're NOT coming, since you didn't book us in any way!"

Similar story with me this knob jockey DNB promoter Danny never confirmed this gig but has put my name on the lineup without signing any paperwork nevermind paying deposit has been giving my agent the run around for over a month. This shit is not on, the way big agencys play promoters off against each other is harsh but completely understandable with the way this pric and others like him go on.

If your reading this Danny :t: take my name off your fucking lineup you complete tool :4:

Once facebook has finished maintenance on my account im gonna slate u on there too....

OK Jahtari arent on the lineup... we're really sorry but the booking was half done and it's just too expensive to fly them all the way over... if you want to blame anybody blame the guys taking the bookings for Blue Mountain as we had this night all booked up for Thursday but were forced to change it even though we booked this a long time before any new nights came along... it's still gonna be a smasher though because the club is ready for a great night in there, this is definitely gonna be a smasher! :)
&
few cancellations for tomorrow unfortunately: No Jahtari or Rob Sparx... or Aphrodite, really sorry to thiose involved.. as a replacement we have the one and only MAMPI SWIFT along side THE INSIDERS though.. its gonna be a big one!

lol trying that shit with Aphrodite as well this pric needs to understand there's a big difference between an enquiry over the price of a dj and actually booking them fucking tool - can hardly cancel if you've not been booked can you?

Yeah, funny he's calling it a "cancellation"... "Sorry mate, would love to come, but it's a bit hard to swim over without a flight, gear and all...". So if you're in Bristol do something better with yer time, like checking Mungos, Soom T and YT @ Black Swan!

From Aphrodite...
They booked me for the thursday night, then by the time they changed it to the friday I was booked somewhere else, he understands but was too late to change the promotion. Better put a note up on my page I guess.
Seems pretty simple to me.

Ok fair enough but promoter made enquiries about booking me on friday 22nd (not thursday) well over a month ago before the event was advertised yet aphrodites name was still on there
