Anyone have any experience with Kurzweil KS40A monitors?

I've had a look at the reviews for it and it looks real good especially for a student in a small room on a tight budget, but just want to get your opinions on it!

Hmmmmm only a 4 inch woofer......... No bass = No point.

How much do you have to spend man? How big is your room?

a friend of mine got them. he bought them to connect them to his dj mixer setup. the quality of the sound surprised me. the bass that comes out of the tiny 4 inch woofers are much lower than expected. I believe they start at 50hz

if you are on a budget and you can only buy 4inch this is the one to go. this said if you are serious producer you need better speakers than this. I would recommend to save some money and check out krk or yamaha. these are affordable speaker with better quality.
