Very interesting stylistic mashup here, two very different genres, interesting.

Interesting, eh? Well there's no need to get too in-depth lol. This is not aimed at you personally, but as a feedback forum this kinda sucks IMO. Either that or my tracks are shit and everyone's too polite to say so, but SHURELY that's not the case on DSF. Hehe

When you said "two very different genres" I was initially like, "what's he on about" because, being the producer of the track, I was only really conscious of the remix I remixed - which was a housey, poppy, 4x4 version of the Killers original - rather than on the original rock tune. So now I get what you mean - to the listener coming to this they're mostly going to see a rock/dubstep mashup. So thanks for pointing that out! I had totally forgotten that it's actually a ROCK tune, and not Jacques Le Cont's dance remix, that people will be conscious of when listening. Then I considered that the other 4 dubstep remix projects I've got going at the moment are all rock songs as well. So it's been interesting realising that I am somewhat inclined to taking rock and dubbing the fuck out of it. Oh well, as long as it sounds good to my ears and one person on DSF calls it 'interesting', I'll keep on keepin' on. :D

I also wonder if DSF's 'feedback' section is simply suffering from 'amateur fatigue' - dubstep is still exploding and as such, everyone and their grandmother (or more correctly, grandson) is getting in on the act. I might be better off finding a production forum and annoying the shit out of them....
