I was listening to this album today and realized how ahead of its time it was, and how fell it fits in with a lot of the Bass music I'm listening to these days.
For those who don't know, Haujobb was an Electro-Indsutrial group that had some popular releases in the '90s. In 1999 they released Ninetynine, a dramatic departure from their previous works which divided their fanbase. The album itself is incredible, stylistically minimal in it's approach with an extremely cohesive sound. At the time it was completely different than anything I'd ever heard, and I played it frequently for years after. I hadn't heard it in several years though, but after today I think it'll be finding its way back into regular rotation.
Anyone else remember this gem? If not, I highly recommend checking it out.
Haujobb - Ninetynine
