I go to school in the midwest but am going home to california for the summer. I'd like to bring my monitors, but I don't know if it's worth the risk.
Does anyone have any experience moving speakers through ground shipping or aboard a plane? Should I even bother. I can leave them with friends who live here, and they'll take care of them, but if there is a safe way to take them home I would prefer that.

Re: Moving Monitors Across Country
I decided to just store them, here, but I would still like to know know for future reference the best way to move speakers,
Re: Moving Monitors Across Country
Dood, I'd say it is riskier leaving them there. haha. Of all your components, I'd think speakers would be relatively easy to ship. Might be pricey though. Just rig up something to protect the front if you don't have grills...
