WHAT SCENE WHERE U IN BEFORE DUBSTEP???

Post by feasible_weasel » Mon May 07, 2007 10:44 am

are most people coming from the drum n bass scene?
or are people coming from the garage/grime scene?
are there advantages and disadvantages of both?
i could imagine the d n b boyz being good at dubby and wobbles.
the garage/grime boyz being good with synthy heavy noises.

Reggae/Ragga/Roots, DnB, Hip Hop, Techno, Gabber

Which is why I love loads of different Dubstep sounds coz most of them relate to one of those genres in some way or another

I'm surprised you was into Grime before Drum and Bass, must have been a retro D&B ting innit?, I can see grime before dubstep tho a lot of people came in that way
