The Plc - Mobile Smile

Post by benq » Sun May 15, 2011 12:03 am

Hey y'all

It's been raining for two days, so I wrote a new bit to stave off the boredom, while thinking of driving in the sun. I tried to give it a house tempo but still keep some garage feel to it, with that sub pressure and the syncopated snare. Enjoy, and feel free to let me know what you think.

Hey man, you've got the sunshiney feel down nicely. I think you could introduce the snare earlier and the tambourine earlier as well. The cowbell is a good element (cures fevers, no doubt ;D ) but I think you could push it back in the mix and give it more rhythmic variations on the 4s and 8s. I dig that sub weight too and the piano break is really pretty.

I definitely agree upon listening again that the cowbell could be pushed down a bit. Thanks for the feedback, mate!
