Outlook festival

Post by Tweeka » Mon May 16, 2011 10:26 am

HI

Going to outlook this year and flying into trieste (italy) and then probs hiring a car for the trip to pula. Wondering if anybody has done this trip before and can let me know what kind of border controls operate between Italy and Croatia :)

Cheers

Yeh i did the exact same trip but due to some confusion with the buses we ended up getting taxis down to fazana where we where staying (did'nt actually work out that much money)

Anyway in terms of border controls you go through 2 (italy/slovenia the slovenia/croatia)

We had no problem in the taxi as he was speaking the lingo and just flashed our passports on behalf of us so we went straight through, We saw a few cars and a bus get stopped though, got asked some questions and they where looking through one of the car boots

Hope that helps

Flying out on the first of sep. Was gonna get the bus down but the return flight is early in the morning so hiring a car looks like the best option. might look into taxi's tho. There are 4 of us so splitting the fair may not be too bad.

cheers
