how to set a vocal in the same key as track (ableton)

maybe a vocoder? but yeah as everyone stated, you should just find out the notes of the vocals and make your tune match them. i think theres programs you can download to tell you what notes the vocals or anything for that matter is.

Yea, I absolutely LOVE Ableton, but there's so many little things I wsh I knew how to do in it and it would make my life that much more easy. Like back when I used fruity loops, if I put vocals into FL I could just go to the vocal's piano roll and choose what pitch I wanted. BUt in Ableton's Audio clips, I can't see any way of doing this :/
