second half was like watching harlem globetrotters vs. man u at basketball. barca were too good to the point of being as vapid as the loneliest 30 second wank...

well done barca. best team in the world at the moment. its not exciting at all however and we all seen it coming.

Man U were shook of Barca.... Midfield was awful except for Park, and they had no idea what closing down is the whole game.
I think they're a great side, close but not the best and definitely not unbeatable... they just have this great ability to scare the shit out of the opposition. I know it was only the 1st ten minutes in which Man U played well, but if they had kept that up, which they are completely capable of doing, then it should been a whole different story. As soon as Barca managed to get a hold of the ball they shat their pants.

jonathan wilson tweeted "Xavi completed passes = 124. Best United player, Rio Ferdinand = 40"

ridiculous statistic for a champions league final.

I remember that day well. It was the same day as the Queen's Golden Jubilee or some such shit, but it just encouraged the country to go in more of a fever. Was a long hard day of drinking and singing :D

By about 60 minutes gone Man U looked fucked. Just before the Villa goal went in they were visibly shattered. Park had run so far in the first half you could see him giving up on winnable balls.

Barca are the best team in the world. The best team (for me) since Ajax of the early 70's (not that I was there...but from what I've read and seen). We all know how they're gonna play, and you can set up to stop them...but they are just too fucking good. Messi is indeed the best player in the world...but, Messi + Xavi + Iniesta....just fucking give up.

Something will eventually change in their camp...Pep will leave, or one of the Barca Trinity will get a serious injury and break their stride...but for now, just enjoy them.

People who understand football can watch them for hours....people who don't (like my mum), think they're boring until they score....There is something uncomfortable about watching a completely one sided game...but when it's done with the style that they do it, you can but get a little stiffy for them.
I don't turn on Korn to get it on, I be playin Digi Mystikz 'til the dawn

The Globetrotters would stomp Barca all the way to China in football.
