Lately nothings mixable, don't know if it's me or the music. Spent $25 on beatport tunes two weeks ago and nothing works together... Never had this happen before :corntard:

I have no idea why, but I can never mix Mala - Education into anything.

I can get the kicks at the beginiing in time, but as soon as the snare comes in it all goes to shit.

yeah voyeur needs pitching up abit if your mixing it with 140 stuff

depending on the tune its being mix with you sometimes have to go all or nothing with the bass for it not to sound terrible.
blends real nice with xlyophobia actually, need to kill the mids abit too i found

also Wooo/glut is a nice one to mix

i dont tend to buy much stuff thats not gonna go so almost everything i have is mixable!

however, some things are just fuckers

almost anything from DMZ camp is a swine
most things by the bug and generally not just the beat but the eqing is solid, his tunes arent like anyone elses.
my mate made this track recently, really coki-esque, but in a good way, problem is its almost unmixable...
Soundcloud

other than that i find hip hop INCREDIBLY difficult to mix!!

lol sheff you have an unhealthy hatred for thses snares.

I always think footcrab is quite hard to sound good when mixing.

Good
Silkie - head butt da deck
Rob Sparx - Trooper
Kryptic minds- arcane

Bad
Neverland - i seem to struggle massively with this
Like was said before a lot of Coki tunes
Ludacris- Area Codes Remix

Kick just breaks through every single other frequency, even with LF turned off.
