- In FL Studio, when you've got the pattern window open (F5) and then you decide to open the browser (F8) to have a look through. You find a sample you want, and press F5 again to open the pattern window BUT OH NOEZ because you're in the browser, F5 actually loads the sample you're listening to onto the channel that is selected, often fucking up what you already had.
You'd think I'd learn, but noooooooo I still do this at least once every other session
^^^That sucks, i never use the F buttons, only F9 and F5, thanks for reminding me never to do that though
When i have an automation clip in the playlist in FL, and i want the same clip somewhere else in a song so i shift click and drag to copy it, then i decide i want that new one to be a little different and i mess with it and i see its fucking with the original also because i forgot to make it unique.
knowing that it's all my fault plus rarely getting chance to have those long 12 hour sessions and properly get into it. snatching a few hours here n there can be frustrating.

This used to happen to me but in 10 they fixed it.

The company that made my pc, they're assholes... My F# buttons are all assigned to do various system tasks and i cant figure out how to un-map them, so when f5 would bring up the step and f the playlist or w.e., i havent had that luxury in a good sixth month...
Nothing about production annoys me, I love it, but lots about the music industry pisses me off i.e. Soldier Boy.

actually that's what made me quit producing for several months.
i did this exact thing yesterday. even at the beginning of the tutorial my sound sounded much less interesting and i followed it to a T pausing the video with every setting. by the time i had gotten to the end mine sounded pretty shitty....so gay lol.
How incredibly long it takes to get an idea from idea form into a decently listenable thing. The fact you have to work through a jungle of buttons, sliders and knobs to slowly churn your sound out instead of, say, sit with a guitar and jam something out which is much more immediately satisfying.
basically the logistics is what i hate. Everything else i love.
