As a producer Bloodman strives to explore and experiment with the fluctuations between genres, his output oscillates between dubstep, house and techno, drawing influences from across the musical spectrum. The Launch E.P. represents a cross section of this diverse and intricate sound and follows his 2010 debut single Remote Viewing / Deep Fish which received praise and ratings such as 8/10 in iDJ magazine.

From Boomkat:
"With EPs from Headhunter, Orphan 101, Arkist and now Bloodman, Bristol's Deca Rhythm have set a distinctly dystopian aesthetic. Bloodman upholds the vibe perfectly with the 'Launch EP', skulking through Bass-weighted horror synth zones akin to moments of Hyetal's debut album on 'Worn Smooth Into Forever', and grooving to moodier Deep House strains of 'Rafter'. The title track is more dub dynamic, spaced-out with spooky organ motif and surging synths over propulsive steppers bass, while 'Darkest Secret' is infested with a swarm of wickedly dissonant strings."

From WhatPeoplePlay:
"Atmospheric post dubstep variations from Bloodman. The tracks range from tech infused latenight tunes to basic chanellesque four to the floor songs with a deep house edge to tracks combining brutal mentasm basses with a reggae pulse or even drum&bass. Astonishing."
