Amon Tobin Isam Live

Post by Veccio » Tue Jun 14, 2011 3:40 pm

Oy,
To anyone who has attended the Amon Tobin Isam Live concert :
Besides his own tracks, have you recognized any tunes he has played between his Four Ton Mantis and the end of the set?
I caught Broken Note - Meltdown, but for the rest, no idea (maybe some Two Fingers ?), I'd really like to get to move on these sounds again ;-)

Respect, AGAIN, for this top electro artist. Big fan of his work since Cujo, I was a little bit sceptical on the "moving" potential of this venue. But hey, the concept was already in itself mind blowing, didn't expect a real party-like set as he used to. And once again, he waited for us in the corner, screaming in his cube : "if only you guys knew what you gonna get next" ...

Keep bassin',
Vec.

After Four Ton Mantis, besides Meltdown, he played the following tracks I know:

Two Fingers - Sweden Rhythm
The Sea Nymphs - Sarah On A Worm (these two mixed together)
Two Fingers - Fools Rhythm
Kitchen Sink Live Mix version ( freebie) --> closing track

He also played a vocal DnB track (this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8HU_siRW ... re=related) Should be a Noisia tune.

Was GREAT!

Yep, Fool's Rythm, forgot about this one ... I guess I was still lookin for my glasses on the floor at this time ;-)
Good Sea Nymph, never heard of this, but shall surely keep diging.
Kitchen sink & Noisia, of course ... These were all tracks kind of "close" to him,and deserves a better hearing from my humble self ... without all these subwoofers in the room that night !

Thanx man !
