Similar to 3xosc?

Post by jrisreal » Thu Jun 16, 2011 7:13 am

I'm looking for a freeware VST plugin that's similar to 3xosc. By this, I mean all or most of the features that 3xosc has and none of the features it doesn't have. I tried a google search but that didn't really help at all. If anybody knows of one, it would be much appreciated.

PS. This is for people who don't use FL and still want a synth like 3xosc.

I recommended a synth with 3 x Oscs, different waveforms, noise generator etc etc...all the functions that 3xOsc itself has. What exactly do you mean that it's "nothing like it"? Are you wanting a free ware equivalent of something identical to 3xOsc in both looks and sound?

If it's that much of an issue, buy yourself a basic copy of FL and use it as a VSTi itself.

I already own FL, looks don't matter. But the synth you recommended only has 3 saw and pulse oscillators, a filter, pitch knobs, noise generator, pulse-width knob, and envelope/LFO controls for only two params. It's also a monophonic (?) synth, so it can't play more than a single note at a time.

Thanks for trying to help and responding so quickly, though. Typical wub :Q:

:? I'm not going for a powerful synth with this. Neither am I looking for anything for personal use, since I am an FL user anyway. I am looking for a plugin that could be used as a 3xosc VST alternative for people who don't have 3xosc. And, as stated above, I am asking because I would like to use such a plugin for something I plan to do in the future.

izzat quotes from me? i wouldn't doubt it :)

3xosc is pretty awesome and by "I'm not going for a powerful synth with this." I meant that I don't want an Albino 3 or Massive or FM8.
