best web browser

Post by capo ultra » Wed Jun 22, 2011 11:13 am

right so I've got Chrome running on the Mac and I'm fucking sick of it, it refuses to delete my browsing history even though I follow the correct procedure so it's going in the bin

they're all shit.

For me anyway.....

Chrome was sick, till it started that 100% RAM thing, switched to Firefox, that was shit, kept crashing and not working properly with Facebook, now I'm using Safari which also crashes occasionally.

Firefox.

People using Chrome shouldn't because it's been proven to have massive security flaws.

They all have (i.e. Scripts or WebGL enabled by default)
If you take any browser as it is they all have massive security flaws.

True, but I would say Firefox is the safest out of them all.

Firefox is a hideously bloated piece of shit.

I use Chrome, mainly, because it's fast and reliable.
For watching foreign videos (i.e. when I need to use proxies), I use Firefox.

In that it hoovers up any free resources it can find. In that there's so many unnecessary plugins and enhancements for it, it's very quick to cripple an already slow browser. Opera also handles HTML5, AJAX and CSS3 far better IMO but more than anything I just prefer the general feel of it. I've used Opera for about 12 years or more now so it's probably largely habit and sentimental loyalty

Opera's latest offering is thooper sexy.
