Someone Pretending To Be Me - What can I do?

Okay, so theres a little emo kid from here in Pittsburgh who has been playing around under the name 'Bassick' for a while. The problem is, today, my homie brought me a copy of his 'demo'... and its one of my RWD.FM recordings!

So this guy is accepting bookings in my OWN town based on my OWN name and my OWN recordings. Fucked up.

Also, looking on facebook, he has added an A. to the his name. (Basick A.)...

Now Ive been established for a long time now, had releases on several labels, held strong in the charts... ANd for some asshole to come along and begin to make a joke of my image like this is out of hand.

Does anyone have any idea what I could do about this? For him to be using my material to earn bookings... Errrr... Im quite mad. I dont want to settle this in a way thatll look bad on me or earn me any punishment...

I'd also be circulating this to all the promoters, labels, clubs in the area he's playing find out where he's booked if he's posting it on his FB and get in touch with the people actually booking him

Yeah of course, its less that he has stolen them and more that he is circulating them under the guise of outright BEING me.

When Ive seen people steal music before, it has been to use under there own artist name. Not just claiming to be the artist outright. Imagine if I claimed to be Ringo Starr. They'd have me commited.
