Mike Holliday is a progressive change that is happening to the youth of the south west country side. With the growing underground talent in the area and not far away from the overshadowing of the Dance scene of london . Mike was first inspired by the likes of Nickey black-market ,DJ Zinc, ed rush , optical, nosia,skream people in the scene back when he was younger they inspired him to play around with production software...but decided on a name before, So, the monikor “Soul Sella Alive was selected and began his relentless search for sounds and samples to build up his future creation.
Mike has had the ability to listen and grow as well as being inspired by some of the areas leading talent from Wilthsire including Muwookie,T- Gunn, Loadstar ( example and lomax) eddie k (hench) along with getting ideas through the other production knob twiddlers ing minds out of the area with artists like Banana bomber. All this cross pollination with other creative minds, the only natural choice was to start collaborating with other individuals including One Son.
With the main influence coming from the genre of music is U.K Culture, there has been an increasing number of emerging producers popping up on the dance music scene daily. Talented producer and from all over the dance map and putting towns like Bath on the scene. Mike Holliday intends to be ahead of the curve and push his music to any and all dance floors willing to feel his bass lines. With any tempos, pushing drum and bass more underground and having a laugh in the process.
