Does my intro flow well enough into my drop!?

Post by Filthzilla » Thu Jun 30, 2011 12:12 pm

Won't take much of your time:

I just wanna know if I need to remake my drop or if it's okay.

Just say yes it works or no it doesn't.
And if you're in a good mood expand a bit of why.

Thank you!!

well in my opinion the intro is really good (and really long) then the drop comes in at its like a total different song has been put on

There is nothing to keep me interested after the drop... no groove, no real sense of anything to dance too, jsut a bunch of wobbles flying at me seemingly randomly, not the kinda thing I could ever see myself 'dancing' too because theres no 'groove' for me to lock onto, might get a few people to headbang, if that counts?

And totally agree about it sounding like a whole new tune... the intro had me expecting a drop with some sort of musicality to it, something ravey... not random wobbles.

Totally. The build is real nice, nice and trancy and evolving. The drop itself if good, it's the music after the drop, doesn't do the introduction justice I don't think.

i think yes it flows but i think it takes a bit too long to get to the drop , , it does build anticipation well but theres about 45 seconds too much there. id also bring it down right before the drop more , like...it has to build , and build , then fade away to almost nothing right before the drop...

I think you should take the drop and use it for another tune, and start a new drop for this one.
