So I just made one of these things. My motivation was essentially to just to bring my Soundcloud and Twitter together in one place.
I think it's easier to just tell somebody to go to your Tumblr.
It looks nice, and it can have the best of your music, and whatever else you want right in one place, easy to sift through or search for something.
The reason for this post is to ask everyone what you think of it. Do you think it is/will be an easy place to market yourself visually and audibly?
Also if anyone else has one, feel free to toss your link up!

I never got Tumblr, what does this do that Facebook doesn't? D:
I only know Doctor P has a personal Tumblr account he uses frequently. I don't see the point really.

It's a lot more presentable then Facebook. It's less conversational and more geared towards "Here is my stuff. Look/Listen/Watch."
It's more of a profile than a communication tool which makes it a little bit neater (and more customizable than your standard Facebook profile).
Similar to most blogging sites, but from what I've seen it's a little more simple and easy to use. (I think?)
Not really a huge blogger myself so I'm still kinda figuring this thing out

It's just a blog with a few networking features. Better suited for long posts or posts with multiple tracks, videos, and pictures.
Never cared much for Tumblr. The lack of a proper comment system is pretty whack. I guess it could be good for pushing your tracks since people can reblog your posts.

It took me a few weeks to understand what it was/about, but now I LOVE Tumblr. I haven’t got a page (nothing worthwhile to post yet) but I absolutely plan on making one. Love it.
Tumblr + Bandcamp = WIN

Yeah it's actually pretty fun. Some pages are awesome.
I can't remember exactly what it was called, but I remember seeing one about designers who deal with dumb and demanding clients. Very funny

I use it to post up snippets of my phone photography, which is unlikely to be of interest to anyone! Really that's all that I look at on there too, photo tumblrs.

I love reading that type of stuff. You deal with the worst kinds of people when doing graphic design.

I took one afternoon and went through probably about a hundred of them or so. It's hard to believe some of the people/scenarios on there.

That doesn't make Tumblr look all that great. It looks like those generic comedies where the bag just flings back and knocks him out
Tumblr is great for finding great art and gifs. And Tumblr can
rewire into Facebook anyway, and that looks pretty cool.

I mean the potential for it seems amazing because of the whole "reblog" thing.
I made one but never really liked it so stopped. My sister and my girlfriend and all their friends love it. To me it just seems kinda of pointless, but maybe that's just my sister's usage of it, which consists of sitting on it for hours on end re-blogging pictures of "random awesome funny" stuff.
(Trying to keep my bias to myself on this... lol)

Yeah, just iPhone 3GS and a couple of apps. As you can see, there is a lot of noise in some of the pics, which is the downside! Got the Photoshop app now to clean them up
