Re: Grime Accapellas
If you ask the artist nicely and prove you are a legit producer looking to remix, they might give you the acapella

Re: Grime Accapellas
lemme tell you, wayne is not hiphop. wayne is gay pop hipster-hop type crap. but yeah those artists just sound like hiphop over a different style instrumental.oprs wrote:listen to some wiley, or marger and then listen to lil wayne.jrisreal wrote:Grime acapella? isnt that basically a hiphop acapella? correct me if I'm wrong.
Re: Grime Accapellas
Its Britains original twist on hiphop..
Yeah we have UKHiphop (which is amazin' don't get me wrong) but Grime is our main equivalent..
The beats and energy are totally different and obviously can relate it more since its a London/UK thing.
On topic...
I'd love a 'pella of this : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TwzH15T6XEY

Re: Grime Accapellas
ahh I like it though. An acapella of it would still probably just sound like rap. So op, you could look up some rap acapellas.legend4ry wrote:Its Britains original twist on hiphop..

Re: Grime Accapellas

Re: Grime Accapellas
i can give you an example of typical rap track with pretty fast "flow tempo", but for what? difference between rap and grime is trully based on instrumental section - so called beat ;bhasezwei wrote:because it's not like there's a 30-50 bpm difference in tempojrisreal wrote: ahh I like it though.
