Just saw this up for pre-order on Redeye but I've never heard of it...
Does any1 know anything about this?

was just about to post this, it's benny ill and a guy called Bill Robin (forgive me but i dont know him). pretty good stuff, sounding really good

this moniker far predates the Dub War nights in NY

I thought it was the other way around.

FUCK YES.

Benny was actually working with Bill long before there was even Horsepower. They made techno under many monikers (Oglio & Markarian 205 to name a couple) made a quality dub/hip-hop album called South Of The River under the name Bill & Ben and released a bit of jungle under the name Dynamite Man & The Detonator as well as the Dub War stuff. Badman producers, get 2 know!

This is going to be crazy. Still waiting on the Horsepower Lost Tapes and Remix EP that Benny told us to expect this year though!

Benny Ill can do no wrong really, can he? You could lock him in a windowless room with a VHS tape, a pair of bongos and a 4-track and he'd still come out with something you couldn't even dream of making.

what can i say? i'm a serious geek for bill & ben / horsepower. never heard a track i didn't like, so i just kept diggin!

shamefully though, i don't have a copy of Murderous Style / Generation, anyone got one they wanna sell for a reasonable price?

Thouroughly loving both the new tracks, lookin forward to the one you're about to upload

I would never sell my copy of dubwar (all the early tempa releases are probably my most treasured records esp. In Fine Style)
