This is really up my street! I like the kick, so in your face, but it loses power once into the tune. Try adding more reverb to the vocal sample and delay to the one shot vocals to padded it out.

Cheers man!

Just a few seconds into your track I can tell the snare is too loud. It definitely shouldn't be louder than your kick. Diggin that heavy synth. Try switching between different synth patches while using the same melody and rhythm you already have going on.

the snare should not be louder the the kick?! The snare in is always louder then the kick in dubstep. That my thoughts on it.

snare should be louder than the kick IMO.

bassline is way too loud, also its really sucky and repetitive. Did you stick a flanger or a phaser on the hats? personally i hate that.

I mean i'm sorry i don't know what to say, this is really amateur. Your bassline is really clean sounding by itself and your atmospherics are also very clean. Maybe turn down the bass a bit and try and fit it in with your beat more and it'll be more song-like.

The snare should naturally sound louder than the kick because of the frequency range but if you compared the volume level to that of the kick in professional producers tracks I think you would find it isn't usually louder. That is my opinion based on my observation though and I haven't listened to all the music out there so my opinion is limited.

Your right about the snare sounding louder due to the frequency range of the instrument, however I tend make the snare louder in all tracks I have mixed, not all dubstep - I've mixed Indie, Jazz, Metal, Folk etc. But it comes down how you want it to sound and what is right for the track.

Also I dont think we should be bring people down, calling there tracks amateur and sucky, thats not going to help anyone. I thought this forum was for learning and helping each other to produce better tracks and sounds.
