I'll sound like a knob here (an I know- I haven't thought up a decent name for myself) , but isn't an artist asking for others to make up a name for them not too far off an artist asking people to make music for them, or tell them how to look?

Your artist name is something personal to you- something you feel fits your music and personality, perhaps something catchy and original sounding....not really the same if others to just suggest random names for you.
