Drugs Slang: What the police are listening for

Post by HamCrescendo » Mon Aug 15, 2011 5:08 pm

found this on another forum. huge list of slang for drugs police are supposed to know, and some of it is fucking ridiculous.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/ ... -to-B.html

Favourites include:

GRAPE PARFAIT - LSD

THING - heroin

THING - cocaine

THING - crack

and theres some music genre descriptions in there which are completely baffled

HARDCORE - heavy beat house music often with screams instead of vocals

Lol, because normally when a policeman overhears someone trying to sell an "Atom Bomb" they would just ignore it.

I have a feeling whoever wrote this article was just throwing in words because he was bored at work. Either that or they got this out of a Drug Awareness pamphlet.

I worked with a dude when I was in the air force that got deployed to DC to listen to phone convos and translate for the DEA.

Said it was the most boring job ever. He had a binder similar to that list.
