whats some good uk rap?
well i live in canada, and ive been starting to take a bit of an interest in uk rap. Ive always listened to a lot of really technical and fast north american rap like tech n9ne, busta rhymes, brotha lynch hung and e-40. I really havent heard much out of the uk, but i deffinetly like some of the stuff ive heard from foreign beggars and skepta. What draws me towards it is kind of hard to describe, but its mostly because of how precise their lyrics seem to be, and for some reason i think their accent fits the music well. I dont really know much about grime, but i cant really say that ive liked it all that much when ive heard it, but i suppose that could change. So what im really looking for is some rap probably over a hip hop, dubstep, or drum and bass track, that has heavy flows, intricate and precise lyricism, and preferably incorporates fast rapping. So if youve got any ideas, id love to hear them
but really what id love to find, would just be the uk equivalent of tech n9ne, but im not really sure if that exists. Like i said i know very little about the uk rap scene, so im deffinetly not trying to say that one is better than the other, but are there any songs youd put up against techs verses in either of these two songs in terms of pure lyrical ability? Like i said, obviously no hate towards uk rappers at all, but im just curious what results this will bring.
this songs really new, but its a good example of his talent when it comes to fast precise rap, just listen to the first verse(not the little mini intro verse at the beginning but techs verse)
and this ones good for some massive flows(listen to the second verse)

Hmm, so you like grime, possibly MC's over dubstep, but mainly want a UK equivalent to Tech n9ne?
I doubt there will ever be another Tech n9ne but if so, I'd have to say Dot Rotten, who does both rap and grime, but more rap these days.
The best English rappers are probably Skinny man, Klashnekoff, Kyza and Jehst though but it depends on what you like. Also an MC called P Money vocalled a load of dubstep tracks but they're not that good if honest.

Stig of the dump is pretty sick
he did some rap over some flux stuff too, and called it stig of the dubs for free download, but its pretty shite though!
Sonny Jim! so good!
someone mentioned klashnekoff, only bother with his earlier stuff, his last 2 albums were pretty bad imo
M9 (melanin nine) for some supposedly deeper stuff, though he talks about conspiracies and the government, i cant help but think hes just using buzzwords and actually knows nothing about the stuff he raps about, and to me it can be quite cringey.
Kashmere does some good stuff
someone mentioned jehst, fucking amazing, probs the best in the uk imo.
yeah roots manuva (love his production)
