What program do you use??

Your Kicks and Snare sound really weak I can see where your going with the track not to bass pounding but they are very quiet also it won't hurt the track to increase the volume on the bass give a compressor or maximizer or limiter. Other then that good tune my friend and hope to hear more :D

eldoogle got the right idea :D.....I'm going to do a blind guess and guess your are using FL studios lol because so far every FL tune I heard weather its dub or not always sounds weak. The mixer channel is always forgotten with most FL users lol. Once again your track is still good just very weak sounding. When I think of horror I think of some spooky ass shit that very annoying and whistling lol. :6:

Yeah good arrangement but the mix is quite off. Do you have good headphones or can you afford some monitor speakers? That'd help a lot. Try to compare your mix to released music and see how they balance the elements. I don't think you need a lot of compression for your snares, I think you're just using the wrong snare samples, they sound quite acoustic. If that's your thing that's fine, but it doesn't come across convincing. Still good start. :))

I'm using logic 9.

And yes I feel like I have a little trouble mixing sometimes!

No problem friend mixes isn't hard at all lol...The samples I use don't really need to much compression so I don't really use a compressor on my sounds but I always EQ my Kick and Snares to give them more power to pop threw the track they are lacking in some way. I use reason so I don't know what Logic has as far a a Maxmizer goes but I love putting does on my sound some times if the compressor doesn't fit the job. Also turning the volume on the percussion channel doesn't hurt as well. Start of with light compression and EQing to get the hang of mixing and getting your Percussion to sound good it took me a while to learn it. My stuff would always come out Over compress and be muting the whole track or come out to weak. -\_("/)_- but hey what can we do we are still learning lol.

More Impact on the snare, more push on the kick and more action and pieces for the rest of the drums (clicks, hats, crashes etc).

Alright so far what I'm getting here is that I NEED to work on my drums more than anything.

sounds good so far. Intro is ok. Bass kinda comes in quick and the LFO seems a bit fast. I would try mixing in some different bass sounds
...wanna collab? Im down for new sounds, send me a PM please.

+1 On drums. I can see the potential here, but I can see the drums as the limiting factor to this track as a whole. A little more focus and emphasis on that, and you're set! If you have a chance drop some feedback on my thread. http://www.dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=214034 Thanks.

nice sutterish intro. your drums have a very small & minimalist feel to them, if u like it cool keep going with it & get it better. If not, try layering up your snares, it gives them a better impact on the track itself. Your bassline is cool, nice & dark, keep working with your synth & tweak & tweak & tweak until that bassline is a real monster, right now it still sounds like 2D artpiece, u wana get it 3D or even 4D haha.
check out my tune Big Guns, let me know what u think bro. peace
