BASSIC is proud to bring you another night of serious low end movement with special guest Pangaea. Hailing from the United Kingdom, Pangaea, aka Kevin McAuley, is one the masterminds behind the now infamous Hessle Audio label alongside his good friends/co-owners Ramadanman & Ben UFO. The label, like Kevin's own productions has been critically appraised by dubstep & techno fans alike for its progressive and unique releases. Combining elements of house, techno, classic dubstep, and uncategorizeable rhythmic innovation, Pangaea's own tracks have been some of the unmistakeable anthems of dubstep's recent past. Opening pressure will be provided by BASSIC Residents Steppo & Damian Silva. You know the rest, BASSIC, no bullshit, just vibes, beats & bass...

"There is a lot of tension in the music that carries a satisfactory darkness with it, but it's also lazy music. You don't have to dance hard to move with it. It was born with a reefer in it's gob."

I'm gonna try to make it to this. Really psyched. Can anyone tell me whether there's a suggested dress code? I haven't seen anything about it for the Pangaea event, but I thought that for the Funktion party with Kingdom next week at the Good Life I saw something about "formal attire encouraged," so I'd rather look dumb here on the forum than when I show up at BASSIC tomorrow. Am I a total n00b for not intuiting these things? Maybe that's what I get for being an unworldly bedroom producer.

I think I answered my own question with a little Google-Images-fu. (answer: no fuss, all vibes. Yes?)

You should be good. Of all the times I've been there I've never seen them enforce a dress code unless their trying to promote a theme night and even then it's never been a requirement. So just go and have fun!!
