Sons of Anarchy (Season 4 started yesterday)

Post by pkay » Thu Sep 08, 2011 1:13 am

Any SOA fans? seems like we're set for another crazy season. Got the guy who played the crazy preacher in deadwood showing up. now. He's a fantastic actor.... 1 hour in and already a dead fed, dead russians, and scheming to no end.

For those unfamiliar get familiar. If you dug the wire, are a fan breaking bad, or any other amc shows, you'll love this.

Start from season 1 and you won't be dissapointed

ps: jax's hair? wtf?

i didn't even make it through the first season

all the characters just seem so disingenuous to what i'd expect from bikers, most notably jax.

everything came off so lame.

I watched the first few episodes of the first season and it never really seemed to get below the skin; characters were extremely 2D and unimaginative, I thought. Guess I should have given it time to develop.

Watched all seasons so far - gunna wait for this one to finished and watch it in one go. I really thought season 3 got really silly and couldn't really feel for the characters (even though you're supposed to..)

Friend told me that word for word. I'm halfway through season 3 of the wire and I'm so deep in that there is just no way I can start watching this one too.

The last episode was absolutely awesome and the plot just gets thicker. Waiting a week for the next episode is going to be so tedious and excruciating. I can't wait to see what happens to Clay.

SPOILERS IN THIS POST

Love the show, but there's one thing that bothers me. I hate the way they get rid of characters. Halfsack's death seemed almost forced. Hale getting run over just seemed like a cheap way to continue the plot. Kozak(sp?) finally coming back into the season and getting blown up. Pretty sure I can name a couple more, but I'll stop here.

Other than that AMAZING SHOW.

Just finished catching up with the last of season 4; it was brilliant; I think it was really good season and made up for the iffy 3rd season.

Excited for #5
