DSF SAMPLE PACK COMPETITION - 32
Due to Haack's extended leaved of absence, Ledge and myself have decided to go ahead with the sample pack contest on his behalf. Please find below the pack (prepared by myself) for download.
Enjoy!
COMPETITION RULES AND GUIDELINES
- CREATE A TRACK WITH ONLY THE SAMPLES PROVIDED
- USE ANY EFFECTS OR SOUND PROCESSING TO YOUR ADVANTAGE (CUT/SLICE/EDIT ETC.) DO NOT BUILD OR MAKE YOUR SOUNDS USING SYNTHS
- TRACK DURATION MUST BE LESS THAN 5 MINUTES FOR SUBMISSION, TRACKS EXCEEDING THIS TIME LIMIT WILL NOT BE INCLUDED
- ANY GENRE OR STYLE OF MUSIC IS ACCEPTED
- DO NOT POST YOUR TRACK BEFORE SUBMISSION OR REVEAL THE IDENTITY OF YOURSELF OR OTHER PRODUCERS
- WHEN FINISHED, UPLOAD YOUR TRACK, PROVIDE A TITLE, THEN SEND THE TRACK TO WUB VIA PRIVATE MESSAGE WITH THE DOWNLOAD LINK
CLOSING DATE FOR SUBMISSIONS - 9am GMT on 1st October

Can I record these sample STRAIGHT on to tape and run them through hardware effects and stuff like that? It would be straight through 1/4 inch and RCA chords nothing else, no mics. Is this okay?

Just plonked all the samples on to bar 1 and it sounds pretty good. Might just give in a loop of that for 4 minutes with a bitcrusher and some reverb on it.

gonna download these in a couple minutes, glad to see this. Might actually finish a submission for this one, never entered before. Apparently this sample pack is the shit according to Wub, ill be the judge of this! Good luck everyone
