///// LUNICE ///// -

Look up Lunice on the LuckyMe website or on his own, and in the bio section you will find him described with wild overblown statements about his sound and especially his live performances.

The thing is – they are all true.

With a slew of big remixes for The XX, Theophilus London, Wacka Flocka Flame, Gucci Mane and Tyler The Creator under his belt and his recent EP One Hunned, the Montreal man has proved himself to be one of the most exciting and forward thinking beatsmiths out there. And we haven’t even mentioned the fact that his live performances carry more energy and theatrics than maybe any other dj in the world right now. There’s our overblown statement for y’all. Yep, Lunice is the shit.

///// YOUNG MONTANA? ///// -

Proclaimed by Mary Anne Hobbs as her ‘Favourite Unsigned Artist of 2010’, the young lad from Coventry had a lot to live up to this year. Thankfully Young Montana?’s debut on Alphapup, Limerence, is a glorious work of multi-textural beats and frankly mental instrumentation – Boomkat said of it ‘if this was Hudson Mohawke's new album then everyone at the planet would be hailing it as a masterpiece; don't let the fact that Young Montana is less well-known obscure the magnitude of his achievement’. High praise indeed, and we couldn’t agree more.

///// DAMU /////

Fresh off the back of releases on Silverback and Local Action, and with a highly anticipated forthcoming release on Keysound, Damu is fast getting a reputation as one of Manchesters rising stars. With a keen ear for emotive synths and sparkling arpeggios he’s earned various comparions to the likes Joy Orbison and Jacques Greene, but to be honest, he’s making waves all of his own. This will also be one of the first chances to see his brand spanking new live show as well.
