I am trying to figure out how you sync a mic with native instruments massive. ableton live is the daw i am using

What do you mean? Are you trying to process a sample in real time through Massive's routing? That's not possible.

damn typo...i meant native instruments the mouth. really what i need to figure out is why i get a terrible sound that almost blows my speakers when i press the "in" button under moniter section in ableton live

that's because your speakers are probably feeding back into your mic.

you should use headphones when working with that kind of stuff.
