eq, compression, stereo imaging on the highs. nah I'm kidding. but you're way better than I am as a drummer, so I cannot do much but give positive feedback. Biggups.
...in my opinion

Cover this...
And how will you inquire into a thing when you are wholly ignorant of what it is? Even if you happen to bump right into it, how will you know it is the thing you didn't know?

Cool songs guys and thanks for the ideas, ok I'll do something from here as my next video, I'm really feelin that last video but I really wanna play the first one 2. Which of these is the most popular? I'm really new to dubstep coming from a jazz background but am fully dedicating my playing to it.

Don't worry about popularity. Just go with the one you're vibing off the most.

Coming from a jazz background you might enjoy covering this, I think it has more interesting percussion in it than most of the other tunes in this thread :)

You obviously don't know shit about playing a musical instrument. If you did, you wouldn't think that every drum pattern you create on your computer can be played by an actual person. And believe me, as a drummer myself I can say that this guy is extremely good, especially if you watch the second video he posted.

Tell that to Jojo Mayer or Deantoni Parks!

Correct me if i'm wrong ( I have no evidence to support this) but isn't that track live drums?

Are you fucking stupid? I wasn't attacking the op dumbass. I never said he wasn't good. I was merely showcasing a good drum solo, which I've only met one other person that can get close to it, so I decided to post. To respond to the music part, I've played in orchestra and jazz band since i was in 4th grade... thirdly, The drum solos in that song are actually drums you twat, not electronic drums. They're recorded live. if YOU knew anything you would know that. So next you feel the need to speak up before you know what is actually being said, why don't you do yourself a favor and keep it to yourself...

Yes it is live drums (obviously not the beginning, but the solos), and I've seen them play it live and it's even better than that (drummer is absolutely absurd).

Hey thanks for all the input guys! I'm really glad I found this forum, people y'all really know dubstep!

First I gotta say just to be clear I can't compare to Jojo Mayer at all. If I'm an airplane then he is a spaceship 4 real. In my strong opinion he is the most talented drummer alive right now and I have so much respect for him. I ask all of you to check out his electro tracks because it's really amazing. I'm still young (only 21) and still learning. I've only just started my second year of school at the Manhattan School of Music so I have a long way to go.

I'm going go start my next cover tomorrow and I'm torn between doing one of these songs( not sure what yet) or a dubstep drum version of a lady gaga song. Now it's not because I love lady gaga, haha to each his own tho, but because of the fast amount of people that YouTube lady gaga and all of my Facebook friends who know lady gaga. My goal with this is to get enough rep going online and locally that an independent Dubstep artist or producer will eventually team up with me and make an album. So what do you think is the best choice in terms of my goal?

P.S If anyone here is interested in doing a track together please let me know and I'll give you my email and stuff. I'd just want to do the drums and you would take credit for all the other stuff. I have some of the sickest dubstep beats worked out on the drumkit that are not really cheesy like alot of stuff I hear but I suck at sequencing other parts and can't do them justice.
