MIDI Keyboard

Hello I was thinking of buying a MIDI keyboard to help me with producing because the keyboards on Logic are not that great to use does anyone have any suggestions on which one I should buy?

First keyboard? A lot of things to consider: feel, weight, knobs, number of keys etc. Have you looked around? What are you leaning towards? Should this be in the production forum?

Cheap. Does the job.

If you want it purely for playing notes then this is your best bet. If you want to track different automation and and all that complex shit then get something like an M-audio keyboard

And how will you inquire into a thing when you are wholly ignorant of what it is? Even if you happen to bump right into it, how will you know it is the thing you didn't know?

Well i'm buying it mostly to make melodies but generally speaking if it does other things to help improve my dubstep songs that would be cool.
