This us fantastic man! You have a great understanding of one of the most important and underused elements of hard hitting music: silence. The tiny gaps of it you include between wobbles and drum hits makes for amazing contrast. It makes the whole song seem more powerful somehow. Furthermore, your breakdown/buildup halfway through the song is inspiring!

I can't think of anything negative about it. May I ask what vst you used to make the 'tubular bells' sound in the breakdown? Also, will this be available for d/l when it's done? Me wants.

Please feedback on my track if you get a chance?

Wow thanks alot! Wasn't expecting a 10/10 off the bat :) Glad you noticed the gaps. This also allowed for me to insert little glitches and fx ;) also the tubular bells sound is a patch I made for Thor in Reason. Briefly it's just 2 square oscillators detuned with one an octave lower than the other. For the fast repetition I use the step sequencer to repeat the note. An arpegiator would give the same effect. And some automated reverb. The entire thing was made purely in reason.

Glad you liked it! I'm planning to make it available for download when I get 200 fans on facebook ;) http://www.facebook.com/pages/Droptek/2 ... 07?sk=wall

All the best,
Droptek

Well then I'm just gonna have to follow you on facebook, aren't I?

Ah reason. I respect anyone who puts that much work into a reason project, I myself am a FL rewired to pro tools kinda guy. Definitely continue to pioneer this style of yours!

Thanks! Reason is the only thing I know! I only planned to have it as a rewire for pro tools. but ended up just using reason solely. :P Never tried FL but alot of people swear by it also :)
