Hi! So I'm new to the dubstep scene (but quite familiar with edm, though). Recently I came across to this film music competition where the production company asked people to write a song for a certain scene in the movie. I listened to some of the stuff and every entry was this classic rock (which, to be honest, is not one of my favorite genres of music). So I decided to participate in this competition with some electronic music. Now, usually I produce some kind of tech house but for some reason I thought that dubstep could really fit to the feel of the scene. So, for the first time, I tried to do some dubstep.
Just an update. The track advanced to the next round. It was picked to top 6 from 150 submissions. All the other tracks are rock.
You can check out the complete track as well as the voting here. If you like the track (well, better than the others at least), please consider voting. It's the third option (J-E Müller - Drop It). And I'll be more than happy to hear your comments for the track!
